One of the most common challenges people I talk about is figuring out how to make fitness a part of their lives. They know they need to do something to get in shape but they really don't know-how. This can be challenging due to the abundance of information available. So much so that you won't know where to start.

There are so many food choices in our society that it is easy to put on extra pounds. Plus, our daily jobs are less physical than they were 100 years ago, so we have a more sedentary lifestyle. We know that there are benefits to exercising, cleansing or dieting. However, most of us do not know how and where to start.

Where do we start? Or the question is: How do we get started?

The very first thing you need to do is see your doctor and get approval to start exercising. Your doctor can also give you some helpful advice.

After you get the "OK" from your doctor, try these 5 things to get started:

Choose to Start Exercising and Eating Well

Deciding to do something is a kind of commitment that you have made to yourself. Deciding that you need to change your behavior opens up new possibilities. When you say to yourself "I need to get in shape", it means something. You should answer these questions in your mind: When can I train? Which exercises should I do? What foods should I be eating? Think about the commitment you just made. Only then can you let go of the past and take steps to move on.

Write what you do

You need a realistic benchmark against your weekly activity. Write down everything you do during the week. This should include work hours, commuting hours, nights spent with your spouse, your child's activities, and anything else you can think of that you do. Include what you do on the weekends as well. You should make a list for each day of the week. Why here…..

Some people set ambitious goals, such as training for 2 hours a day. This may be due to an old saying, "more is better". However, this is not the case. Knowing your schedule will help you set realistic goals and find a few hours per week to start exercising. You'll have a visual perspective on what you can and can't do with your routine.

Search and get information

Most people don't have enough information before starting a workout program. So how do we get the information we need? The good news is that we live in the information age. Take advantage of your favorite search engine and learn more about fitness and nutrition. However, don't overdo it, and don't lose your focus. Find a source of information you like and take notes. Get the easiest, easiest workouts and nutrition tips. Don't overload yourself with information.

If you have the money, hire a personal trainer for a few sessions to get started. Hiring a personal trainer is a great way to get started because you've made a commitment to meet with someone for training. Your goal is for the instructor to show you the basics of exercise and a healthy diet. It may also be safer to learn how to exercise (especially if you haven't exercised for a while).

Make a simple plan and set realistic goals

keep it simple! It is much easier to follow a simple plan with a busy schedule than it is to follow a detailed plan. You should have a plan for the days you want to work out and aim to change your eating habits over the next few weeks. For example, "I'm going to train for half an hour for 3 days this week. I'll eat a little less with each meal.

Follow your plan

Now that you have a plan, all you have to do is follow it. This is another big step. Every day when you wake up, you should see your plan. You need to be mentally prepared for the big day to come. Keeping your daily schedule on hand will help you achieve your goals for the day. When you've finished your workout for the day, highlight it or remove it from your list. It will show you that you have achieved something for yourself. It doesn't matter what performance you have to do. it will be the most.
